This was 16 years ago, at the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development, also known as the Rio Summit, Earth Summit (or, in Portuguese, Eco '92), a major conference held in Rio de Janeiro from June 3 to June 14, 1992. the UN international Environmental Conference.

if more young people can be like her, then i think we can really solve the earth's problems...

i liked this speech a lot, cuz it let people see the power when we view from different angles.
can't find any further info on ECO, the organization the girl represented. anyway, like what calvin said, hope that HIF's voice will be heard by more and more people^^
if only our decisions weren't based solely on monetary gain
